The VA Loma Linda Healthcare System is committed to support returned troops from Operation Iraqi Freedom(OIF) and Operation Enduring Freedom(OEF), and to make sure they have the health care and benefits they need.
Who is eligible as a combat veteran?
Veterans are eligible if they served on active duty in a theater of combat operations during a period of war after the Gulf War or in combat against a "hostile" force during a period of hostilities after November 11, 1998 and have been discharged under other than dishonorable conditions.
What are the benefits that we offer?
We will provide care for all illnesses and injuries related to military service, free of charge, for a period of five years from the date of discharge. Copayments may be charged for treatment of non-combat related conditions (common cold, injuries from accidents that occurred after discharge or disorders that existed before joining the military).
If a veteran did not receive a pre-separation dental exam from the military, then the veteran is eligible to receive a dental exam from the VA within 180 days of their discharge from active duty.

What to bring?
Your discharge paperwork (DD-214) if it has been issued or Deployment Orders. Prior year's income information. The dates of birth of your dependents(including spouse and children) and their social security numbers. Insurance card(s) for any private health insurance you may have.
Where do I enroll?
We can schedule you an enrollment appointment at any of our five community clinics or at the Loma Linda VA Medical Center.
Is there an online enrollment?
Absolutely, you can find the electronic 10-10EZ form at https://www.1010ez.med.va.gov/sec/vha/1010ez/. All you need to do is complete the form and print a copy. We will need you to sign the printed copy and mail it to us with a copy of your DD214 to
