Robert Provience shows off his winning photo with local ducks in ponds

Employee Robert Provience shows off his winning photo.

Wednesday, December 22, 2010

When VA Loma Linda employee Berneitha Dobbs visited another local VA and saw walls filled with beautiful photography, she thought to herself, "we can do this at Loma Linda VA." Thus the birth of the VA Loma Linda Camera Club for employees who have a passion to take photos who would be willing to share their artwork with others.  The Camera Club already has 11 employees and continues to grow.

The photos taken by the club will be displayed in the halls of the facility for the enjoyment of Veterans, family members, visitors and staff.  Robert Provience, a biomed tech at the Medical Center, captured the calming effect our resident ducks provide, while lounging in our ponds.  This photo was selected as the best of show.

Stop by the Laboratory Hallway on the 4th Floor of the Medical Center to view these wonderful works of photography.  The clubs pictures will be displayed for six months.
